Table errors are disturbances in the controller memory due to electrical noises or electromagnetic interference. Generally, when a controller is subject to such disturbances, GuardPointPro downloads immediately the corresponding data to the controller, allowing to repair the damaged table. Then, the controller indicates this by a "Table error" event indicating that the memory has been disturbed and has been corrected automatically. This event appears only for information and there is no special operation to perform.
If the user does not want to see such events in the event log window, it is possible to hide them from the "Options>Menu" screen.
- If a controller frequently generates table errors
It means that the damaged table has not been corrected when the errors occurred.
→ To solve this issue, the controller should be initialized completely in order to recreate the damaged table.
- If the errors still persist
The database should be analyzed. Table errors are from different types depending on the position (by counting from left to right) of the figure '1' in the error code. If the number is 1, that means that the corresponding table is problematic.
Here below for information the list of tables classified by the number position:
→ Check the corresponding table that is affected in the above list and then check the linked configurations in the software.
For example, if receiving 'Table error 0100000000000000' that means that the Card Format Table is concerned and all configurations in the software linked to the card format should be checked.
- If a lot of 'Power Up' events are also generated
→ That means that either the controller has not enough power supply or the controller has an internal problem.
- If the problem cannot be found
→ Please send us the firmware version of the controller and the database.
