You can now easily install SQL server from a batch file that will install with the right configuration with no intervention from the user other than to start the batch file.
You can take the different version from here:
For 64 bit PCs
For 32 bit PCs
Once downloaded the correct package for your O/S unzip the files. Browse to the folder and locate the setup.bat file - right click and 'Run as administrator'
You will see a command box appear and start to install SQL server. Allow the install to complete. SQL server has been installed.When connecting to the server with management studio or Vantage Point the username is:
Username = sa
Password = Password12341
The SQL server name = VPSQL
